Bedroom Sitting Area Decor

This unique idea for sitting area decor, especially in the bedroom, piqued my interest :) as it sets itself apart form all conventionalities by adding an ethical, eastern flavour to the bedroom, in a very modern style.

          Central to the decor, are the chairs that are in the shape of the sitaar--the
melodious instrument of the subcontinent that has, with its sweet notes, earned popularity worldwide, and which represents the very essence of SouthAsian music.
          The shape of these chairs bestows a sweet ethnic touch to the sitting area decor, riminiscent of the times when the great Mughals--those  passionate patrons of all forms of arts--sat in the splendour of their grand palaces to enjoy the heavenly music made by the masters of the sitaar.
          Meanwhile, the spice is added, not only by a deep red colour, but by the very simplicity of the design that gives the air of modern style and simple elegance.

          The seat of the chairs is low, while the base at the floor is cushioned, enhancing comfort for folding or spreading out legs. Hence, this sitting area decor realizes the dream of combining simplicity with quiet grandeur and adding royal comfort to the ultimate bedroom.
