Bedroom Decoration—Working with a Bold Colour Scheme

Orange is my mum’s favourite colour. I love the brightness and spirit orange adds to many colour schemes, especially when it comes to décor.

In this bedroom, the eye-catching orange bedspread gives a burst of colour, making the bed the centre of attraction, just as it should be! The chocolate brown touch within the design just nuetralizes the potential sharpness of the overall look…the effect is warm and intense, but not eye-pinching: a perfect balance!

Notice that the rest of the bedroom décor, while complementing, is composed of neutral wood and browns, so as to not distract or overwhelm the eye.
